00:08
I'm, I'm Jesus and we are, and these are our vibes.
00:14
Our vibes are about a little of everything.
00:17
Starting with the fact that we've played a bunch of different
00:20
genres and styles of music from, you know, classic pop, acoustic
00:24
ballads to urban music more recently, even, you know, now
00:28
Regina Mexican, I don't know, I guess we're a little versatile
00:32
but at the same time, our sound might be like a little Timeless
00:37
If you know what I mean?
00:37
We're always trying to keep it real, you know, and have fun
00:41
and be chill, whatever we're doing, you know, and be happy
00:45
I think that like translates to our work, you know, I'm right
00:48
now just trying to be like, very relaxed even in this chaos
00:52
that we're living, you know, enjoy our family, exercising
00:57
So for me, it would be more like uh trying to be chill.
01:00
But it, yeah, me too.
01:01
I think I'm very much about staying in my friends, my family
01:06
my dog, I like things to be beautiful.
01:09
I like things to be peaceful.
01:10
I like art and I like design.
01:14
I think that's something that we share kind of and I feel like
01:17
the vibe as a band is made up of our three personalities and
01:21
all of the things that we have in common and the things that
01:23
differentiate us from each other.
01:25
And if you look that informs the vibe of the band a lot.
01:33
This year 2020 got us like trying out new stuff.
01:37
So we released an EP called the Mexico with different versions
01:41
of, of regional Mexicans in our style.
01:43
So that's when we said, you know what, we definitely gotta
01:46
do the song with, with just a new song.
01:48
That one started it.
01:49
Fortunately, we had the song already.
01:51
So it just took us a while to do the video and release the song
01:55
but it just makes sense, you know, and, and for us is a great
01:58
example of when you just have like what it takes to be an artist
02:02
and hard work and great songs, you go out there and hit the charts
02:06
and decided, you know what, let's do the pop version because
02:08
But let's definitely do a Mariachi version and we love, you
02:11
know, everything that with Mariachi and, and it's just like
02:16
You know, we grew up on that.
02:17
It's our culture, we're Mexican.
02:23
This is definitely a very sort of traditional in the sense
02:27
of that's what we use Mariachi music for.
02:29
It's a heartbreak songs.
02:31
Song when you get your heart broken and you're really pissed
02:34
you want to say to that person.
02:35
I'm almost over you.
02:37
I'm like this close and then you sort of elaborate on that feeling
02:40
and that idea and the video sort of touches on that.
02:43
We see a girl in this case who is very much in control and then
02:48
there's us falling like idiots, but it's laid out in a way that's
02:51
really, I think really poetic and really beautiful and kind
02:54
of dark, which is what Fernando Lugo does.
02:57
Who we absolutely love quite a few videos with him by this point
03:00
And we love his take on things and the way that he interprets
03:04
lyrics and his story and the way that he's able to put that story
03:08
in film and we think that he's amazing and we think that he did
03:11
a great job in, in both of these versions.
03:13
I think each one of them really represents what the song is
03:16
That's what we feel.
03:17
And hopefully, that's what people will feel when they see
03:24
She was terrified, she was terrified going around.
03:27
And so were we, there was an old car, the car was pretty cool
03:30
and, and we were like, we're gonna destroy this car.
03:32
That was one of the best parts that I mean, it's a beautiful
03:36
Obviously, if we, if we look at it like artistic speaking,
03:40
We had so much fun also, we're very much about female empowerment
03:44
and I feel like Fernando also, we have to give him credit on
03:47
He always finds a way to include a strong female character
03:52
in a way that's very powerful and very sort of consistent I
03:55
think in both of these videos.
04:00
Yeah, we were actually falling during a thunderstorm.
04:05
It was really, we were diving in the middle of a thunderstorm
04:11
I mean, no, it wasn't, it was painful and, and uncomfortable
04:15
and then you were upside down and there was wind in your face
04:20
I mean, just the fact that, you know, you actually know you're
04:23
making a scene that's gonna be super dramatic.
04:26
It's gonna be a little comic even, you know.
04:28
But um sure, why not?
04:30
I'll take the little uncomfortable.
04:32
All right, everybody.
