The idea behind the lyric video was basically that whenever

I write or whenever I'm singing, it's like I'm escaping into

another world because whenever I speak, I kind of am scared

I hold back a lot of things, I overthink over stress.

So whenever I sing, I don't feel that way at all.

I just feel like I can be creative and be myself.

It's just me by myself writing killing in my own little world

My dad is from Mexico.

My mom is from Ohio, but I didn't grow up speaking Spanish until

I was probably in high school whenever I started to learn because

we didn't really speak it at our house.

But I still felt that it was a really big part of my creative

process and of how I write and get my feelings out there.

And I wanted to do, you know, Spanish and English because it

adds a different beauty to it.

And it also allows other people to be able to relate to it.

So with all this music that's coming out this whole era, what

I wanted to do was just make something that's vulnerable for

me that, you know, kind of helps me through my problems, but
