So you know that your daughters have been having,
00:02
right? We made it to the World Series.
00:04
We sent, thank you.
00:07
They deserve that. We sent no one talking.
00:12
Oh, damn. I got a fan up in here that
00:17
likes to flap his mouth.
00:19
Oh, yeah. But then we jeez,
00:27
I can't even work like this.
00:28
But, ok,
00:29
so, all right.
00:30
So we made it to the World Series,
00:32
right? So we sent the Padres and the Mets to Cancun
00:35
and sh he is having a historic year.
00:37
He made baseball history this year by joining the 5050 club.
00:41
Oh, you know what that is right before we go.
00:43
Oh, of course.
00:44
Yes, he did something 50 times.
00:47
Don't ask me what exactly.
00:51
So look, so the 5050 club,
00:52
essentially he got 50 home runs and 50 steals in one season
00:55
Wow. So the home run ball that he hit for
00:58
his 50th home run just made history as well.
01:01
Right. It was sold for $4.4 million at auction.
01:06
Oh my God. $4.4 million for a little baseball,
01:12
that little baseball is baseball history.
01:15
And guess how much the Dodgers originally?
01:17
Like offered to pay the fan that caught it.
01:19
How much it hurts to say this.
01:22
But only 300,000. Again,
01:24
I know it's a lot of money but regardless,
01:26
300,000 compared to 4.4 million.
01:29
Brother, that's like so many houses.
01:32
Geez. 300,000 to get you a house in 2024 here in
01:35
L A. Yeah.
01:37
And it's like, damn,
01:39
he said, they said deal or no deal.
01:41
He said no deal didn't turn the ball over seriously.
01:47
But there's actually more drama to his 5050 ball hasn't been
01:51
it again. Oh,
01:51
look, I caught the ball and I sold it.
01:53
No, no, no.
01:53
So a lawsuit was actually filed by 18 year old Max Matas
01:57
claiming that he is the in fact the rifle owner of the
02:00
ball and he's seeking justice.
02:03
So, Mattis claims that he went to the Dodgers versus Martin's
02:05
game right for his 18th birthday and caught the ball according to
02:09
the filing. However,
02:11
Mattis claims that a few seconds later,
02:13
Christian Zaz right trapped mattis' arm in between his legs and wrangled
02:17
the 5050 ball out of Max's left hand fwwe style,
02:23
bro. So the lawsuit includes screenshots from what it claims is
02:27
video evidence from the multiple fans of Zec ripping the ball from
02:31
Madi's grasp for lifting the ball victoriously.
02:34
So they got footage.
02:35
Yeah, but I don't know,
02:37
dude, it's kind of weird that it's been taking this long
02:38
I know, it's not going to be super quick,
02:40
but like, I don't know.
02:43
Damn well, hopefully they can figure something out.
02:45
I mean, dude,
02:45
$4.4 million or maybe they can,
02:49
maybe they need to split it 5050 I guess because he caught
02:57
it allegedly right first and the guy took it.
02:59
So it was like he caught it a,
03:01
I got you split it 2.2.
03:04
That is still a lot of money.
03:07
Come on now, this is interesting for sure.
