00:11
we didn't see you there.
00:13
Welcome back to Lincoln Bio.
00:14
I'm Alejandro and I'm Jenny and we got quite a show for
00:17
you guys today. We sure do.
00:20
We're gonna be talking about gen apparently they're really active in bed
00:26
and we also have the Paris Olympics on our watch.
00:32
We have updates and also we have habit burger getting into it
00:35
in and out. Who would have thought,
00:37
you know, there'd be a clash between these two burger chains
00:39
and Professor Parl beg joins us to give us some updates
00:42
on Venezuela and what's going on over there.
00:44
And last but not least Chito De got the way ambassador Jay
00:47
Balvin joins us to talk about his new album and about his
00:50
new ambassadorship because you know,
00:52
homeboy is busy, he's busy,
00:55
But let's turn up the heat and get this banger
01:02
Hey, sister, how has your hot girl summer been?
01:06
Not gonna lie, brother.
01:07
It's been rough out here in these parts.
01:09
Damn well, you know,
01:10
I'm in the same boat sister.
01:12
I'm struggling, man.
01:16
Exactly. That's why we're kind of scared to get in there
01:19
But, apparently for Gen Z parents in the bedroom
01:22
it's been the opposite of that Gen Z parents.
01:26
So you the young parents,
01:29
what the hell? Exactly.
01:30
Some findings reveal that 79% of Gen Z parents reported having truly
01:34
mind blowing sex in the last three months compared to 45% of
01:39
Gen Z without kids getting real actions Again.
01:44
No kids, 45% Gen Z with kids,
01:48
79% mind blowing sex again.
01:51
Not just sex, mind blowing sex.
01:53
Yeah. So you really like matching each other's freaks out here
01:57
like this shit isn't like a trend.
01:59
It's a lifestyle that's crazy.
02:03
Didn't match my freak but someone did apparently,
02:06
I mean, they are younger so that's expected.
02:09
But why is this study?
02:11
Singling us childless people out,
02:14
you know, and you always hear stories about how sex life
02:17
takes a turn after kids,
02:19
but these Gen Z parents are clearly getting it in Amen sister
02:24
I felt that last part.
02:25
But yeah, apparently researchers found that folks with families feel more
02:28
stable and secure in their personal lives making sex a superior experience
02:33
when you're not stressed about again,
02:35
finding the one or buying a home,
02:37
buying a home gas prices,
02:40
you can just, you know,
02:40
fuck a little better.
02:42
I don't know you like,
02:44
you know what I feel good today.
02:47
get ready for child.
02:48
Number two guys because all that sex is going to be the
02:51
consequences. Damn though.
02:54
Like my, my sex life was horrible.
02:58
You're gonna be part of a new study soon.
03:01
I don't know what to tell you.
03:04
There's, there's more fish in the east where the,
03:08
the little violin comes into play.
03:12
Damn. Are millennials.
03:13
Boring. Are childless millennials boring.
03:18
Hey, I'm not gonna say nothing,
03:20
sister, but there's proof the 2024 Olympics are underway and the
03:29
medal counts are climbing fast.
03:30
Is there, you know who I'm rooting for?
03:33
I mean, go usa you know,
03:35
but I don't, I'm Mexican.
03:38
You know, I feel like I'm very Mexican.
03:40
So I'm like, I'm going for Mexico.
03:41
Let's go Mexico. Let's go.
03:45
I know Mexicans archery team is killing it too,
03:47
we got Alejandro Valencia,
03:49
Ana Paula Vasquez and Ruiz and they won a bronze on Sunday
03:53
like, look at that big ass bo like I could never
03:57
I could never, I actually went to do Archery in the
04:01
Olympics. Not in the Olympics,
04:03
not in the Olympics.
04:05
Oh, I'll break loose in the Olympics.
04:08
I have, I recently tried it and it's freaking hard.
04:12
It's so hard. Honestly,
04:14
I, I'm blessed that I didn't shoot an arrow somewhere.
04:17
And, and shot someone's eye out.
04:21
Right? But it's intense.
04:26
you guys will see this next week.
04:28
You won't want to miss it.
04:29
You'll see me and Anna and we tried archery for the first
04:33
time. It was amazing.
04:34
You shot everything. Yeah.
04:35
Oh, I want to see this.
04:37
Some amazing coaches,,
04:40
that taught celebrities by the way.
04:41
Oh, are they gonna say they were cute or something?
04:44
they were cute couples.
04:45
They were so cute and also too Brisa Awi Alvarez won a
04:51
silver medal in judo.
04:52
So I mean there's archery,
04:54
there's judo. Mexicans are taking over,
04:57
dude, they're all bad ass.
04:58
You don't want to mess with them.
04:59
It's like they're doing their damn thing out there for salute.
05:04
You know what sister?
05:05
There's a bunch of athletes doing their thing and I like that
05:10
bro, the Olympic memes are,
05:12
they're chef's kids, they're meing.
05:15
Exactly. We, we so I wanted to,
05:18
you know, give away medals to some of the best ones
05:21
cool. Ok. But first up I want to give an
05:23
audible mention to the goat,
05:26
lebron James. you know,
05:29
he, he left the impact on us in,
05:31
in France obviously and people are seeing that their uniform makes him
05:34
look like high school bullies,
05:37
those kids from a very private school like you know,
05:39
on the on the field trip that is kind of like looking
05:43
I told you, I see they remind me of those rich
05:45
guys from social network,
05:47
the twins, the twins and then even is that in be
05:52
He's like they're judging you like,
05:53
oh for sure. But yeah,
05:55
so I mean, I just wanted to highlight,
05:57
our team usa doing a thing out there.
06:03
anytime after 8 p.m. and it's because,
06:07
you know, the whole household,
06:09
he's got the whole household on his back,
06:11
you know, and he's a man with responsibilities and then the
06:15
worst part is he's like,
06:17
don't change it. I'm watching that like when you're trying to
06:19
wake him up to be like,
06:23
five minutes. Was it that good?
06:28
perfect. So a bronze medal and then for silver,
06:33
I feel like it's all of us,
06:35
you know, benches and on these athletes again,
06:39
world class athletes make one mistake and we're like pathetic.
06:44
I could have freaking,
06:47
Well, I did see one big,
06:49
not a little mistake.
06:50
It was a big mistake or I don't know if it was
06:52
just a meme but it was a guy that did the belly
06:55
flop. Did you see that?
06:59
People were saying? Oh,
07:01
you lie on your resume when you lie on your resume or
07:03
whatever. I'm like that's messed up.
07:06
Leave him alone and then gold gold medal here per my last
07:12
email dude is this is this China's team,
07:14
right? With the dude.
07:16
They were not messing around how bad ass they look like for
07:21
my last email. Oh my God.
07:24
What would be like the Latino want for?
07:25
You mean this on the spot?
07:30
There's a lot of pressure.
07:31
I mean the simple one is like what they can but no
07:36
me it's like when you know,
07:37
when my wife is like,
07:38
coffee is like, not right?
07:39
the coffee shop and they're like,
07:40
oh I wanted this and like she said,
07:42
she wanted but then inside,
07:46
I'm also shaking. I'm like,
07:47
she's like, but yeah,
07:50
dude, they've been good.
07:51
So it was only like week one.
07:53
So we got a lot of more memes for the Olympics to
07:56
that's how we keep our updates.
07:57
So stay tuned and let us know,
07:59
keep sending us memes too if you guys have any.
08:01
Yeah. What's up guys?
08:06
So recently usa today dropped the articles saying that in and out
08:10
had been dethroned by a burger.
08:13
They are trying to divide us.
08:14
So I'm here with my boy Carlos.
08:16
We're about to go try them out.
08:17
So let's go. Let's go.
08:22
We're here at habit about to get to the bottom of this
08:24
There's a line I don't think they have it.
08:26
Where's the customer service?
08:29
They don't have this in,
08:30
in and out, for sure.
08:32
I'm happy without it.
08:33
Can we get two double cars,
08:36
am I saying? Or are you saying?
08:41
That's crazy. Taxes.
08:43
And the whole total almost $40 for two double doubles is crazy
08:49
All right. Getting into the booth.
08:50
Pretty smooth concrete. I mean,
08:52
this is, this is nice.
08:56
But, but is it too quick?
08:58
Honestly, they don't look bad.
09:01
They're salted crunchy fries are good.
09:07
10 out of 10 for the price.
09:09
They're golden guys. It is golden prize.
09:13
It's a perfect cry right here.
09:18
first bite, the lettuce is,
09:21
it's nice. The cheese is fully melted.
09:23
There's onion on here.
09:24
I'm going in because I'm here we go.
09:28
I just feel like there's like there's something missing.
09:31
It's like they're missing salt out of 10.
09:35
you go first, I'd say like a seven,
09:39
I like a seven or six.
09:42
but I'm not like jumping up and down for the burger.
09:47
Just, just not eating it.
09:50
Presentation. 10 out of 10 fries,
09:52
10 out of 10 ambience.
10:00
six fries, 10 ambience on the spot.
10:05
Irrespectable establishments. I see some families around but not like not
10:12
I'm being a little fat right now.
10:14
I'm with this economy,
10:18
prices are a big deal.
10:19
$35 for two burgers.
10:22
Let me, that's like three days of me eating in and
10:25
out. Let's go check it out.
10:30
So I'm here in and out and Carlos is nowhere to be
10:34
found. Sorry, I was parking.
10:36
There's no parking. Look at the cars,
10:38
this I feel at home.
10:41
I'm home. This is home outside parking lot.
10:45
Ambience. 10 out of 10,
10:48
two double doubles and two fries.
10:53
we're about to eat like Kings right now.
10:57
this is nice. This is,
10:58
this feels right. So the fries look kind of sad.
11:01
Honestly, they do look sad.
11:02
They look a little dry like yesterday's fries,
11:07
they're already old. There's no crunch when I get an animal
11:09
style. It's like hiding all this.
11:11
I give it a one out of 10 on a set.
11:14
the burger. Here we go.
11:16
Here we go. No competition,
11:22
It must have been a slow day in the office just making
11:25
news up. These guys have the number one burger out here
11:29
Look, look how far along I am into the burger
11:31
bro. Look at your burger.
11:32
Looks good. This is in our phoenix.
11:35
To order another one,
11:36
they should put a thing where I work like X amount of
11:39
days since jeans had in and out.
11:41
It won't go past seven days.
11:43
Yo, it will go by seven days.
11:47
10 out of 10 fries here,
11:49
crash the burger. I give it 10 out of 10 fries
11:53
two out of 10 ambience.
11:56
10 out of 10 burger.
11:59
10 out of 10 in and out.
12:01
Absolutely is way better than the habit.
12:03
I don't know who wrote that article.
12:05
We're about to go ordering one.
12:07
A car. Raw dog is whole meal.
12:12
Jenny Alejo. That about wraps it up.
12:14
Me and Snazzy Carlos did all the reporting.
12:18
That was a good burger.
12:19
You already know who won and I need a bed.
12:22
Yeah, I'm gonna go sleep in my car.
12:23
I think back to you the election in Venezuela,
12:30
thousands of Venezuelans are protesting the results and now world leaders are
12:35
commenting on the alleged fraud to help us understand the situation.
12:40
We have Doctor Carl Berg,
12:41
professor of Political Science at Virginia Commonwealth University.
12:45
Hello, Doctor, how's it going?
12:47
I'm good. Thanks for having me on.
12:48
Awesome. Thank you for joining us.
12:50
We're just gonna get right into it.
12:51
What has led up to this election?
12:55
you know, opposition leader and Mundo Gonzalez had a lot of
12:58
momentum and people were excited to vote.
13:00
Well, according to pre election polls,
13:02
Gonzalez was leading Maduro,
13:04
the incumbent president by at least a 35 point margin.
13:09
So it was projected to be a blowout.
13:11
No one necessarily expected the elections to be free and fair.
13:15
Given the Venezuelan government's history of manipulating elections in the past
13:19
But the announcement at midnight on Sunday that Maduro had won
13:23
with 51% of the vote just did not align with,
13:29
with polls. And then it came out that the opposition
13:33
had collected a large number of vote tallies about 70% of all
13:37
voters in the country showing that Gonzalez had actually won by about
13:41
a 7030 margin. And why do you like?
13:44
Why do many believe that it has been unfair election and that
13:47
Maduro intervened? Well,
13:49
Maduro has a history of intervening in in elections.
13:53
The last election was widely seen as,
13:56
as fraudulent. He is an unpopular leader.
14:00
Maduro has overseen the worst economic crisis in Venezuela and the worst
14:06
migrant exodus that it is seen about 20% of the country has
14:12
has left. And so what's next for Venezuela if Maduro
14:15
Well, everyone is waiting to see what the government's response is
14:19
and it seems pretty clear that the government's response is to crack
14:22
down with security forces,
14:23
both official police and these paramilitary biker gangs called Dios.
14:29
I've seen reports of about 12 people dead and maybe 800 people
14:33
arrested. Those numbers will certainly go up.
14:36
It seems that the strategy they're taking is just to ride it
14:39
out with repression. If that happens.
14:41
I expect we will see more Venezuelans seek to leave the country
14:45
than even up till now.
14:46
Well, is the opposition to Maduro trying to fight the alleged
14:49
fraud. Yes, the opposition has collected these things called a
14:55
acts are vote tallies by mesa by voting table.
14:59
Officially, the government is supposed to release this and actually post
15:03
it on the website of the elections board.
15:06
The CN they have no,
15:07
the government has claimed that they were victims of a hacking attack
15:12
and that is why they could not post these.
15:14
However, these are all supposed to be shared publicly,
15:17
including with observers and the opposition.
15:19
So the opposition was able to collect about 73% of them up
15:23
till now. And according to the opposition,
15:26
they clearly show Gonzalez winning by a very wide margin.
15:33
the international community is demanding that the Maduro government post these afta
15:39
online and provide proof that he did win by the margin that
15:43
they have reported and up until now,
15:45
they have not provided this proof.
15:46
And do you think that Maduro and the government will face some
15:49
you know, international pressure from other leaders now?
15:52
Well, the Maduro government has faced a lot of international pressure
15:54
up till now and it has survived.
15:56
These elections were the product of negotiations with the US with the
16:00
Biden administration to allow for something resembling free and fair elections in
16:06
exchange for sanctions relief.
16:09
And this is something that the Biden administration wanted because it really
16:11
wants to restrict the number of migrants coming to the southern border
16:15
ahead of the election because they're worried about losing the election over
16:18
the migration issue. And they also want to lower oil prices
16:21
because they're also worried about losing the election over inflation.
16:25
So we'll see the US reimpose sanctions.
16:28
We'll see other countries place Venezuela in a kind of pariah status
16:32
but it's been that way for a long time and Maduro
16:35
has managed to survive really by relying on the military for his
16:38
support. What do you think will unfold next for?
16:41
Well, unfortunately, right now,
16:43
it's a lot of violence.
16:44
We are seeing a lot of people protesting and the government
16:50
taking extreme measures to repress those protesters and that is going on
16:54
right now. And I think this is going to continue and
16:59
I think if the Maduro government and Maduro himself feel that their
17:03
backs are up against the wall,
17:05
they're going to do everything they can to stay in power.
17:08
But there's always the possibility that the important sectors that back
17:15
him, notably the military would abandon him if that were
17:19
to happen. Then anything goes,
17:23
it's, it's a lot to say the least.
17:25
But thank you so much for your time.
17:27
And where can people stay informed about Venezuela and like any updates
17:30
on this, people can follow me on,
17:33
on Twitter at MP beg.
17:35
However, I would like to point people to other Venez
17:39
and specifically Venezuelan activists and and commentators and you know,
17:43
I think one good resource as a jumping off point is a
17:46
blog called Caracas Chronicles.
17:48
I think you can find a lot of Venezuelan voices there but
17:51
you know, just go on socials and look for Venezuelan commentators
17:54
There are a lot of people are posting what's going
17:57
on on the ground in real time and risking their lives to
18:00
perfect. Thank you so much for your time.
18:02
And I guess we'll keep an eye on these things because
18:04
it's getting crazy. Thanks for having me.
18:07
take care. Hey JB and Buenos Diaz,
18:14
how does it feel to join that?
18:16
They have to weigh a family?
18:18
you know, inspire this next generation and make them feel their
18:20
mark. How does that feel?
18:21
It feels great, you know,
18:22
like it's always been my vision and,
18:25
and my purpose as another artist has done it with me that
18:29
inspired me to be where I'm at right now.
18:31
Basically, I think life is like a chain of failures in
18:35
the fact that, you know,
18:36
you inspire me. Then I start inspiring another one and that's
18:40
you know, like a change.
18:41
So I think it's really beautiful to me that we can do
18:45
that. We can create a legacy and it's not about music
18:49
it's about how you follow your dreams.
18:52
So you know what we're doing here is not telling people be
18:55
an artist. That's the last thing that I want people to
18:57
do. I want them to be,
18:59
I want them to be really happy.
19:01
So I rather, you know,
19:03
whatever they wanna be just,
19:04
you know, support them and,
19:06
and give them the best tools to help them,
19:09
which is what we're doing with,
19:10
with Cheetos, you know,
19:12
looking for the ambassadors to help them.
19:15
Ev the dream, ev what they,
19:17
what they want to do from the heart and you know,
19:20
believe a market. And speaking of Cheetos,
19:22
what are your favorites?
19:23
There's puffs, crunchy hot.
19:25
There's so many. I'm a,
19:27
I, I love Cheetos man and all the way,
19:29
like there's one version that is coming up soon.
19:31
We cannot say the flavor.
19:33
When I was shooting the commercial,
19:35
I basically, I had to go to the gym for like
19:41
I love Cheetos in every way.
19:43
You know, it's because it reminds me of my childhood and
19:46
they just gave me that nostalgia.
19:47
You know, every time I made a Cheetos,
19:50
my finger tips on my shirt and it's,
19:52
it's really cool man.
19:53
And just everything that,
19:55
that has nostalgia in my life makes me feel better.
19:58
And I have to keep an eye for a new flavor because
20:00
I had no idea what fantasy in the new era of album
20:04
what I expected from me when I was doing the album
20:06
was getting 2000%. I just want them to feel what I
20:08
felt when I was in the studio music,
20:11
it's a universal language.
20:14
there's always some type of song that connect more with one people
20:18
than another. I just want to connect with the,
20:21
with, with whoever listen to the album,
20:23
whichever song they pick.
20:25
But as long as they connect with it,
20:27
to me, that's the important thing.
20:30
what song from this album is the best for clubbing?
20:32
Like to get you all hyped up.
20:33
There's one called Slut with Luar Lare.
20:38
There's another one called Origami with Ryan Castro and Bless.
20:43
At the end of the day,
20:43
people are the one who choose if,
20:45
if he's a banker or not,
20:46
right? But there's no formula to the music but it
20:51
makes me feel good when I listen to it.
20:55
that give me peace to know that I'm not saying like,
20:59
oh I could do better here or I could rap better here
21:01
or I could do a better hook here or not.
21:03
Like when I listen to it,
21:05
I feel that I gave my whole energy and then,
21:09
you know, it's how people react to it,
21:12
which is not in my hand,
21:13
but I hope they love it.
21:14
Oh That sounds great.
21:16
No, I remember when Bibras was out like I had that
21:18
on heavy rotation and that was good until this day.
21:23
it's, it's, it's a proof that I was just
21:28
for example, I just went to enjoy the music that I
21:32
do and, and that's how create a great impact.
21:35
So we're doing the same with this album and hopefully,
21:38
you know, we have a lot,
21:39
it is gonna have a lot of love back.
21:40
And what's one fun fact that people don't know about J
21:47
I mean, I haven't done it in a while because I've
21:48
just been traveling around the world and I haven't had like,
21:52
a lot of time to jump.
21:54
I'm gonna go tomorrow and jump.
22:01
I love to build Legos.
22:03
That's something that people don't even know.
22:05
What's the craziest one you've done because there's like,
22:09
I was doing a piano.
22:11
I think that piano is gonna take me,
22:13
like, three years to finish it.
22:15
So, so that one is great.
22:17
But the last one I did it was Optimus Prime.
22:19
I love Transformers. So it was about,
22:22
and San Carlos, dude,
22:23
like, they're expensive.
22:25
Like, it's an expensive hobby.
22:26
You're right. You know,
22:27
they, they, they don't hide the man.
22:32
you know how the business is,
22:34
they don't hide the man.
22:34
But it's true. It's true.
22:37
It's not, it's not cheap anymore.
22:40
we have adult money now.
22:41
It's like, get the adults,
22:42
you know, it's like they got money to spend.
22:44
There seems to be so much talent coming from Colombia like you
22:49
guys are doing the damn thing.
22:53
who do you think is up and coming and that we should
22:56
keep an eye out for?
22:57
That is amazing. I think she,
23:00
she definitely knows a matter of time and be patient.
23:03
I think she's gonna be the next one,
23:05
you know, representing Colombia and reggaeton in the world.
23:08
There's another kid called Jest.
23:11
Another one. His name is JP.
23:14
Amazing. Pirlo from Cali.
23:16
Like there's too many new artists coming out from my city and
23:19
from my country that it's really hyped me up because it was
23:22
a moment that it was basically just three of us in Colombia
23:28
I know you have a kid.
23:29
I'm a dad. Do you want your kids to follow your
23:31
footsteps and go to the music industry?
23:33
No, no. What do you want them to do?
23:36
no. I want him to be whatever he makes me happy
23:39
to. If he wants to be an artist,
23:40
I'll definitely will support him.
23:42
I just wanna let him pick,
23:46
choose whatever he wants to be and I'll be there to support
23:51
him no matter what anything he wants to be a writer or
23:56
like to me, every career,
23:58
every job is important as long as it makes you happy.
24:01
Who knows? Maybe a designer for Legos.
24:04
That'll be amazing because I'm gonna,
24:05
I'm, I'm gonna get that for free.
24:13
Awesome. Well, check it out.
24:17
dude. He was awesome.
24:19
He's so chill the LEGO thing and like the skydiving.
24:25
Like I thought he was cool before but now like,
24:28
look, I know I'm excited that the vibes are going to
24:31
be on point. I've been to one of his concerts,
24:34
it's lit and he's so creative.
24:36
So like the fact that he's into Legos,
24:38
I see that because he's such a creative guy.
24:41
And also thank you Cheetos for saying this up dude.
24:42
That was awesome. And you know what if you have those
24:45
new flavors? Like it's mid Oprah.
24:48
Oh Yeah, I would love to try them.
24:55
DJ Balvin is awesome.
24:59
really dope. You know,
25:00
he's like the homie but like if he's like if he invites
25:02
us to his house in Colombia,
25:03
he's like the homie homie.
25:05
Oh For sure. Like you see you saw the way he
25:07
was, he, he ha ha ha with us.
25:11
But I can't wait for that album.
25:12
Honestly. It's gonna be sick dude.
25:13
Any J Balvin album I saw him live.
25:16
Oh That man could put on a show.
25:20
we'll have to see him invite us back,
25:21
you know. But anyways,
25:24
this has been link in bio I'm Alejandro and we'll
25:28
see you on the next one.
