Show transcript
00:07
Hi guys. Welcome back to Lincoln Bio.
00:10
I'm Jenny. I'm Gene and we've got a great show coming
00:15
up. We got the battle for the armrest.
00:18
We have allergy Armageddon.
00:20
None wrong with Rihanna and former Dodger gets charged abortion band in
00:26
Arizona with Representative Alma Hernandez.
00:30
And there's a new fee being charged at a famous restaurant in
00:35
downtown L A. You wouldn't believe what they're charging for now
00:39
and Ale Espinoza drops by and pays us a visit into it
00:44
Let's get into it.
00:49
Rihanna's new photo shoot is sparking controversy.
00:52
The singer appears on the cover of interview magazine wearing a Catholic
00:55
nun inspired outfit including a head piece that looks like a nun's
01:00
habit. You know how fresh I feel this.
01:05
You fly as hell.
01:07
Many people are calling the shoot distasteful and disrespectful.
01:11
They say the photos mock Christianity and that all religion should be
01:14
left alone. Rihanna has not replied to the criticism.
01:18
It does seem like Rihanna is religious though in the interview,
01:20
she said that she let Scott lead in her relationship and that
01:25
God knew she needed to start a family with Asap Rocky.
01:28
Do you think the photo shoot was that serious?
01:30
Or are people just being dramatic or was it actually distasteful?
01:33
Personally, none's been wearing this shit.
01:37
Thank you for putting us on Rihanna.
01:38
This shit is flied.
01:40
I mean, personally I wouldn't do it.
01:45
I do have a Catholic mother but I'm not Rihanna.
01:48
So I mean just in case you're gonna hate on me or
01:51
anything like you are gonna get I got this.
01:54
Oh Yeah. Oh Look at this little boy right here.
01:58
First communion. Nino de dios.
02:00
This is just clothes.
02:01
This is just clothes.
02:03
No disrespect. Here.
02:05
You feel me? That was the first day I did first
02:07
communion. I'm still hanging in my grandma's apartment.
02:10
This is the first picture you see when you walk in now
02:12
I can see you without the beer.
02:14
I think I like this better.
02:15
Come on. You think this kid will be disrespectful?
02:17
No way. No shot.
02:19
Rihanna is a child of God too.
02:21
Rihanna is a child of God too.
02:22
You could throw. Did you know that at the 2012 V
02:26
MA s basically as a rocky grabbed her ass and her team
02:31
thought that he she was gonna go crazy but she didn't.
02:34
And that's how they knew that he was the one and a
02:37
lot of people were mad about that.
02:39
So maybe is in some ways.
02:41
It's like that. That's,
02:43
that's something only a ap could get away with honestly.
02:46
Yeah. Don't, don't guys don't be slapping girls asses around
02:50
You're not ASAP,
02:51
she's not Rihanna. You,
02:53
you're going to jail,
02:56
you know, and avoid bookings,
02:58
please. Like that's something only ASAP could do but it,
03:03
it, hey, you found love in a hopeless place.
03:06
You know, you gotta,
03:09
there's still not an excuse to wear that though.
03:14
Gene, have you noticed that this allergy season has been kicking
03:18
our ass, Jenny.
03:20
I literally walked Pao Park yesterday and got jumped.
03:23
The only thing messy was for them to take my wallet.
03:26
Like I literally look like I got beat up.
03:29
Oh dude, look at me.
03:31
Look at how I look.
03:33
Oh my God. I snapped a little picture of myself.
03:37
My napkins are in there right now,
03:38
like 34 in those are my top.
03:42
Look at one. I follow police report.
03:45
What does this? Well,
03:48
gene thank global warming for them.
03:53
Moos. Scientists warned that global warming is made seasonal allergies worse
03:59
as the climate warms.
04:01
Plants are shifting their growing zones and blooming earlier and longer.
04:06
So pollen season is getting longer.
04:10
My friend, more rain causes plants to release more pollen and
04:14
changing wind patterns are bringing new kinds of pollen too.
04:17
So we're getting pollen that ain't even come out yet.
04:19
Like some studies show that rising carbon dioxide in the atmosphere can
04:25
create billions of more pollen grains in trees.
04:30
Oh man, what my allergies don't know is that I will
04:32
end it all. I will take 15 Claritin pills and fucking
04:36
end it like you're not winning,
04:39
you, you're not winning this battle.
04:40
I I will end it.
04:43
I will Flonase myself to,
04:45
to sleep like yesterday took like too many pumps and then just
04:48
whoa oh my God dude.
04:50
Well, hopefully I wish you guys the best.
04:53
Let us know how your allergies are doing in the comments.
04:57
Let's move on. Jenny air travel can be hell frustrating,
05:04
didn't you just come back from a trip?
05:05
I did and it was just insane.
05:08
So you know, crowded planes,
05:10
expensive snacks dealing with flight delays,
05:12
rude ass customers and then they freaking have you go from terminal
05:18
to terminal, get off the plane,
05:19
get your luggage, go on a bus,
05:21
get your lu It's crazy.
05:22
I mean I I saw on Reddit that someone posted about a
05:26
flight attendant who actually made it announcement about like the arm rests
05:32
before takeoff. Yep.
05:34
He said that each person should only use one arm rest and
05:39
leave the aisle, arm rest free like for cards and people
05:44
walking down the plane and he emphasized that no one should take
05:50
both arm rests and that there shouldn't be any arguments.
05:54
So what do you think j is that a legitimate rule or
05:58
no first come first serve wherever my elbow lands,
06:01
that's where we're staying.
06:02
You have to come physically remove my elbow from the fucking armrest
06:06
You feel me?
06:07
So and especially if you got there before me and you go
06:10
to the bathroom, it's over,
06:12
that's my armrest. When you get back.
06:14
It's like a seat when someone leaves and it's like,
06:16
oh, well, it's my seat now.
06:19
Elbow it out. I don't care it.
06:20
95. What do you guys think?
06:22
Do you think guys think that this is a legitimate rule or
06:26
how should it be done with armrest?
06:28
Let us pay for them.
06:29
Honestly, you pay for it.
06:31
Yeah, I'll be like,
06:31
charge me 20 bucks.
06:32
I own both armrests and then I'll resell them,
06:36
I'll resell them mid flight.
06:37
I'm like, yo,
06:38
I own it. If you want it,
06:39
give me 40 they'll probably start charging for that shit too.
06:43
I mean, I don't get any ideas guys.
06:44
This is my idea,
06:46
jetblue Spirit would be the type to do some shit.
06:49
Yeah, I would.
06:50
But anyhoo, well,
06:53
you guys share your thoughts.
06:54
Let's move on to our next story.
06:56
Move over gratuity fee.
06:58
There's a new fee in town.
06:59
Oh man, purge a popular restaurant in downtown L A sparked
07:03
controversy by adding a 4.5% security surcharge to customers bills.
07:10
This move triggered a debate on social media with many questioning why
07:14
security costs aren't included in the meal price first,
07:17
ipad tipping. Now security charge are extra fees getting out of
07:21
hand. Yes. Customers are debating whether it's fair for customers
07:26
to pay for security expenses that are typically covered by a restaurant's
07:29
operating costs and a deleted post.
07:31
Perch said that the fee is necessary to pay for personnel.
07:35
And some are asking why not,
07:37
why not add rent charge or insurance charge or payroll charge?
07:40
You know, if you can't afford to live there,
07:42
why don't you just move?
07:44
I mean, honestly,
07:44
what if I bring my own security perch like by Os?
07:49
Yeah, some of these girls that I'll be chilling with like
07:52
yeah, that's right here.
07:54
Yeah, you're not stopping her like trust me,
07:56
you're not stopping her like I'll just hire you to come to
08:00
church with me. I mean for 4.5 I'm more of
08:04
a 6.5 charge, you know,
08:06
4.5. Why don't you just do a flat fee?
08:08
No, man, I feel like it is if I'm getting
08:11
beat up eating at your restaurant and you gotta charge me like
08:14
no, come on guys,
08:16
I should not, I should not have to worry about security
08:20
charges or what if I don't wanna pay?
08:21
Like you just gonna let me get beat up like sorry,
08:25
that guy, that guy didn't pay,
08:26
let him get in downtown.
08:28
You are really close to skid row.
08:30
Skid row. Yeah.
08:31
Yeah, he didn't pay the security fee,
08:32
throw him over, he's allowed to get thrown over.
08:35
They got like a little private jail too done with yall Perch
08:40
Huh? All right on to the next story.
08:44
Oh, this one's bad.
08:45
Former Los Angeles Dodger pitcher Julio Urias faces five misdemeanor charges stemming
08:50
from an alleged domestic violence incident involving his wife Daisy in September
08:55
2023. The charges include domestic battery,
08:58
spousal battery, false imprisonment and assault.
09:02
This follows an alleged altercation during an L A soccer game in
09:06
September 2023. And I think if he's doing this in public
09:11
Yeah, he's done it before.
09:12
Unfortunately, sources say Urias took photos with female fans and later
09:17
began assaulting his wife.
09:19
He was arrested on the scene in January.
09:22
The L A County District Attorney's office decided not to pursue felony
09:27
charges against resulting in his misdemeanor charges.
09:30
This month following the incident in 2023 UIA was placed on administrative
09:34
leave and remained unsigned by any team during the off season.
09:38
So he hasn't been able to,
09:40
you know, get back into the league,
09:41
hopefully get some help for his wife himself and his wife is
09:45
ok. Yeah. No,
09:46
first of all for sure,
09:48
make sure his wife is ok.
09:49
Yeah. And if they have kids,
09:51
you know, hopefully they're getting help as well because that's not
09:54
cool. On Tuesday,
10:00
Arizona Supreme Court ruled that a 160 year old abortion ban is
10:07
enforceable. So they basically made this law 100 and 60 years
10:12
ago and it was brought back.
10:15
That is insane 100 and 60 years ago,
10:19
like literally jumped in the time machine was like,
10:21
let's bring this law back.
10:23
Yeah, and that would actually make it the 17th state to
10:28
ban all or most abortions since the Supreme court overturned Roe versus
10:35
Wade in June 2022.
10:38
Yeah, man, we just keep going backwards.
10:41
The state's court ruling will be on hold for 14 days and
10:44
reviewed by lower courts.
10:47
Organizers are trying to get abortion rights on the November ballot.
10:52
So Arizona voters may be able to decide on the issue here
10:57
to explain the abortion ban ruling is Arizona representative Alma Hernandez.
11:02
Hello, Alma. Welcome.
11:06
Hi, great to be with you today.
11:07
Thank you so much for joining us.
11:09
Alma, Can you explain Arizona's abortion ban ruling?
11:13
Does this mean women in the state don't have access to abortions
11:16
anymore? What we're dealing with is a law that was passed
11:21
in the 19th century since before Arizona even became a state.
11:25
It was actually passed in the 18 hundreds.
11:27
This is a law that was put into place before Arizona became
11:31
a state and before women even had any rights.
11:33
So the fact that the ruling was,
11:35
you know, it was a difficult thing to see yesterday,
11:39
but the ruling was just very disappointing.
11:41
We already had the state of Arizona was already one of the
11:44
most restrictive state when it comes to ban on abortions.
11:48
We had a 15 week ban on abortions with some exceptions.
11:52
just as of yesterday and then the ruling came out that
11:55
said that we were no longer going to allow that to be
11:59
in put into place.
12:00
We would now be going back to the law that they passed
12:03
in the 18 hundreds.
12:04
So now what this means is that there are no exceptions for
12:08
abortions, whether there's been rape or incest.
12:12
The only exception is if it's to save the one,
12:15
the mother's life, which I believe is extremely,
12:19
it, it's extremely disappointing.
12:21
But that just means that right now everyone is in limbo,
12:24
right? Because this ruling was just made yesterday,
12:27
which also includes a mandatory prison sentence from 2 to 5 years
12:32
for medical professionals. That's doctors,
12:34
nurses, providers who are providing this very critical care because
12:39
abortion is health care and they are now facing potential legal change
12:44
challenges and up to jail or prison just for doing what
12:49
is their job, what they,
12:51
what they should be able to do.
12:53
Will the people of Arizona be able to vote on the abortion
12:57
ban on the November ballot?
12:59
Is that a possibility?
13:02
Yeah. So one of the things that we are doing right
13:04
now is we're still collecting signatures to help get this ballot measure
13:09
that we've been working on actually not,
13:10
not just because of yesterday,
13:12
but for for months now,
13:14
it's been an effort to be able to get a ballot referendum
13:17
would enshrine it in our state constitution.
13:20
The ability for, for us to be able to make those
13:23
decisions as women, between our,
13:25
our families and our medical providers and not allow state government or
13:29
laws to dictate whether or not a woman can have an abortion
13:32
So there is a ballot measure right now that we're trying
13:36
it will get on the ballot.
13:37
Let's just be,
13:38
let's just start there.
13:39
It will be on the ballot for November and I hope that
13:42
individuals know that they can vote for this.
13:44
It would be a constitutional amendment which means that regardless of what
13:48
the Arizona Supreme Court just said or ruled on that would supersede
13:52
that. So we are hoping we can get the support from
13:56
the Latino voters here in Arizona.
13:58
I think there's a huge misconception that all Latinos are,
14:02
you know, pro life or anti Aora.
14:05
But I think one of the important things to note here is
14:08
yes, this ruling happened and it's terrible but elections have consequences
14:13
And the only reason we are in this situation right now
14:16
is because we have conservative Republicans who care more about telling us
14:21
what we can and can't do with our bodies than actually trying
14:24
to make a difference to improve Arizona.
14:25
Some Arizona Republicans are distancing themselves from the ruling.
14:29
What are your thoughts on this?
14:32
I believe it's actually complete nonsense and BS and people are not
14:36
stupid. These are the same individuals who have continuously voted to
14:40
restrict access to abortion,
14:43
to reproductive health to,
14:45
to make it more difficult for individuals to access things like contraceptives
14:50
These are the same individuals who are ok,
14:52
incarcerating medical professionals who give this care to women.
14:56
So I call BS on all of these individuals who are now
15:00
trying to take the narrative in the press and say,
15:03
well, we don't necessarily agree with what the,
15:06
the Arizona Supreme Court has ruled on.
15:08
Let's try to come up with a modern fix.
15:11
There is no modern fix.
15:12
We should not in 2024 be legislating women's decisions.
15:17
So I, I call BS on every single Republican who's now
15:21
out there trying to claim that they don't support this when every
15:25
single one of them put us in this situation.
15:28
They are the ones who have voted for this.
15:29
They are the ones who stacked the court.
15:31
They are the ones who allowed these things to pass and now
15:35
they want to backpedal and say actually it's,
15:37
it's actually not, not what we fully support.
15:40
So, no, I call BS on every single one of
15:43
them. Yeah, I just feel like we're just like going
15:45
backwards. Well,
15:47
hopefully, you know,
15:48
in November, hopefully people vote and make their voices heard and
15:53
you know, there's better outcomes and we're ta and hopefully
15:56
we can speak to you on better terms at that point.
16:00
And I,
16:00
we wanted to ask where can people find you?
16:05
Yeah, so I'm on social media.
16:08
of course, on both Twitter and Instagram,
16:10
I am available. If anyone wants to get involved.
16:13
If they're in Arizona,
16:14
please reach out to me.
16:15
There are so many changes that we can make,
16:18
starting from the ball the top of the ballot all the way
16:20
to the bottom. We need people to get involved and wake
16:23
up because we can,
16:24
can continue to go down this path so they can find me
16:27
on Twitter at Alma for Arizona and on Instagram rep a Hernandez
16:32
and I am happy to talk to anyone and get them involved
16:35
But this is going to take a lot of effort and
16:39
and really advocacy for our community.
16:41
It's going to take a village,
16:42
but we're united.
16:44
Thank you so much,
16:45
Alma. We really appreciate you breaking down what's happening?
16:49
Yes. Thank you for joining us.
16:51
Of course. Thank you for covering this take care.
16:54
Thank you today. We are here with Ale Espinoza.
17:03
Yeah. Thank you for joining us,
17:06
Ale. So I wanted to ask,
17:08
what is your favorite question to ask on interviews?
17:12
My favorite question, My favorite subject has to be
17:17
like everything about my son because I know every single like answer
17:23
it has it has to be that.
17:25
Yeah, that's nice.
17:26
And then can you describe the outfits you have planned for the
17:30
Latin A MA s this month?
17:32
The outfits I, I I'm not sure yet.
17:35
I'll be like pretty sure two days before because we're always
17:40
changing. I ha I also have to know how many
17:44
times I can change.
17:45
That's probably probably I'll have like four or five.
17:50
Really? No, once I think I changed like 11 every
17:56
time I was on TV,
17:57
I was with a different outfit.
17:58
And what designers are you collaborating with you right now?
18:03
I don't have like anyone in mind.
18:06
I'm, I'm such a weird person.
18:08
Not, not weird.
18:09
I mean, I'm just like,
18:11
I don't care about the designer if the look or if I
18:15
put the dress on and it fits and I feel good and
18:18
I feel empowered. I don't care if it's someone that just
18:21
like graduated from the designers designer school or no,
18:25
I, I really just,
18:26
I have to feel the outfit,
18:28
I have to feel it.
18:29
And that's why I always tell my,
18:31
my, my stylist don't tell me where is this dress
18:35
from? And sometimes she wants to push like stuff like,
18:38
oh this is from this designer and I'm like,
18:41
but I don't like it.
18:42
I don't like it.
18:45
So, so I don't,
18:46
I don't really care about the designer.
18:48
I like the, the,
18:48
the, if, if it fits like you,
18:51
I mean, if you feel the outfit,
18:53
like once you put it on,
18:55
it's, it's going to shine.
18:56
I, I it's gonna make you feel good and that's what
18:58
I look for. Like when I,
19:00
when I try on dresses,
19:01
I agree. No,
19:02
no. So much De Marcas Pero if I feel good and
19:05
like it could be from that.
19:09
Yeah, they were that,
19:10
see, sometimes people ask me like,
19:11
on social media.
19:12
Where's that jacket from?
19:14
And it could be like,
19:16
probably Costo Quince that and,
19:20
but if I like it,
19:21
I like it and you make it look expensive.
19:23
Right? When did you adopt a plant based lifestyle?
19:28
And why, like was your grandma,
19:30
like was there kind of like?
19:35
Yeah, I know everybody loves me too.
19:38
Just me.,
19:39
last year.
19:41
I also do marathons so I was training for a
19:44
marathon in April and I have an injury in my,
19:50
my leg and I was like going to therapy and everything and
19:53
nothing like it, it wasn't healing.
19:56
I was walking one day and I was watching Netflix and I
19:59
saw this it was about plant based diet and how it
20:02
helps you like to like Rena come on Cuerpo you heal
20:13
faster when you're in a plant based diet.
20:16
So I said, OK,
20:17
I started like looking I don't know,
20:20
I mean, just to see and then I made,
20:23
made the switch and I felt like so good after,
20:28
yeah, right away and I,
20:30
I don't know. And it just made me feel good and
20:33
my, my skin was,
20:34
was better, my hair was better.
20:36
I had a lot of energy.
20:37
I did like, I don't know,
20:39
two or two or three marathons.
20:41
After I started,
20:43
I lost a lot of weight.
20:44
Now I'm trying to recuperate my weight because I lost like,
20:49
I don't know, like £20.
20:51
I think. What?
20:52
Muscle? Yes, I'm trying to build muscle.
20:54
So I'm, I'm right now I'm,
20:56
I'm,, sometimes I eat chicken and,
21:00
fish, fish but no red meat.
21:02
No, no, no,
21:04
I got a car.
21:07
El Paso for la.
21:07
LA. So, how do you balance,
21:12
like, career success with motherhood?
21:14
Because I'm like, right now with me,
21:16
I'm like, everything I have to do.
21:18
And then I'm like,
21:18
how can I have a kid in the mix?
21:21
Like, how do you do it?
21:22
I don't think there's like such a thing as balance.
21:24
If you like put your head in something,
21:28
something else is going to at least a little bit,
21:31
it's gonna fall off.
21:32
I mean, but I,
21:33
but I know my priorities,
21:35
my, my family,
21:36
my husband, my son,
21:38
God, that's my,
21:39
my top priority and then everything else and that for me
21:43
that's, that's the way I try to,
21:44
I try to understand or,
21:46
or, or make me feel good,
21:49
understanding that there's no such a thing as balance.
21:53
at least not for me.
21:54
I mean, you,
21:55
there's no way if you are like one day,
21:58
let's say tomorrow, if I have to work,
22:02
I have to leave my son,
22:03
like with my husband,
22:05
I have to like,
22:05
don't be with him and sometimes IIW when I wanna be with
22:09
him, I can't work or I,
22:11
at least that's me.
22:13
I know a lot of people they know how to balance,
22:16
balance things. But iii I can't have you ever faced like
22:20
body shaming in the industry and how have you navigated criticism and
22:25
bullying? Yeah. Now like I maybe al Principe Mi
22:31
Carrera JCA. Me so and oh you're like,
22:35
oh you've gained weight or you're like too skinny or blah,
22:38
blah, blah. That wasn't very important since probably a
22:43
year and a half ago.
22:45
I lost a lot of weight and people it's like every
22:49
single photo like picture I post video.
22:52
Everything has to do with that like,
22:54
oh you're so skinny.
22:56
Oh You're like you look like a skeleton and,
22:59
but the thing is it's always gonna be there like body
23:02
shaming people always I don't know why they feel like so
23:08
attracted to, to,
23:10
to that area that topic.
23:12
huh. I don't know but I mean,
23:15
I just try to do my best.
23:16
I thank God I'm healthy.
23:20
That's why I don't feel bad because I said I'm not doing
23:22
anything wrong. I'm not doing anything wrong if like sometimes people
23:26
like right. Oh You're a bad example for my daughter or
23:30
for my niece or whatever.
23:33
And I'm like my example should be like my career like Toque
23:38
Toque de de Lolo Grado,
23:44
not my body. Yeah.
23:46
If anything, you're a great example.
23:48
You, you, you have an amazing career.
23:50
You're good at what you do.
23:51
You're a mom like it's like you're doing all these things.
23:53
You're a really great example for women everywhere I feel.
23:57
Yeah. So whoever's saying that doesn't know I can ask you
24:02
So where can we see the Latin A MA S
24:05
Thursday, April 25th.
24:07
We're gonna be there at Univision 8 p.m. The great event.
24:11
It's gonna be awesome.
24:12
Talia, it's going to be hosting with me.
24:15
Also who else is gonna be hosting with me?
24:18
Oh, Carlos Ponce,
24:19
sorry, I did a whole day of press with him and
24:23
I forgot now. Yeah,
24:24
Carlos Ponce and Talia will be ho hosting with me.
24:27
So I think it's gonna be so much fun.
24:29
That is gonna be fun.
24:30
It's gonna be lit guys don't miss out and then where can
24:33
people find you on social media?
24:36
Instagram, Alejandro Espinoza at Alejandro Espinosa,
24:39
Facebook, Alejandre Espinos,
24:41
official tiktok, Ale Espinos.
24:43
I have, I don't know I should have the same handle
24:46
for everything but no,
24:47
and what else? Snapchat still on?
24:51
I think so at Ale Espinosa.
24:53
Thank you, Ale.
24:56
Thank you so much.
25:07
Hey, welcome to Bay Hill.
25:22
Hi. My name is Gwen Lei and I'm the chef owner
25:26
operator of be O Vietnamese Street food and comfort food in
25:30
Los Angeles, California.
25:32
Can I get one coffee,
25:33
one soda to please?
25:37
It's been really nice and different.
25:39
I vibe very well with the customers.
25:41
Everyone's very friendly being from L A.
25:44
it seems like everybody vibe very similar to me.
25:47
And with our culture,
25:50
how's your day going?
25:52
Good, good. The culture here is just deeply embedded.
25:56
The Latino culture is deeply embedded and also having worked in different
26:00
kitchens with a lot of different Latino chefs.
26:03
And seeing that it could really be any kitchen,
26:05
any type of food.
26:06
And you look to the back of house and you'll see Latinos
26:09
cooking all types of food and you know,
26:11
doing an awesome job at being able to do it and really
26:15
having those skills transferred to many types of food.
26:26
A Atra Protos Que Vien in the America Latina Atra como
26:33

26:41
mente nos aros com eos Loque Consumo.
26:46
There's so much similarities.
26:48
We get our bread every day from a Panaderia and it's a
26:51
Central American bakery. But the Pan Frances is exactly the type
26:56
of texture we use for our ban maize.
26:58
So many things, I mean we can just name it all
27:00
the fresh herbs. You know,
27:01
the cilantro, the Vietnam and Central America is on the same
27:07
latitude. So a lot of things just sort of grow similarly
27:11
I see Latinos come and enjoying the food as well.
27:13
I see returning customers and people that I know are coming
27:18
and it's really nice to see like different cultures coming together.

28:00
For us being a small restaurant.
28:02
I find that it's important to set a standard,
28:06
you know, for the big guys,
28:08
let's say. And so we,
28:10
separate all of our recycling from the trash and we separate all
28:14
of our organics and I really make it a point to train
28:17
the staff to do it.
28:18
The specials we do for folks in the neighborhood who can't afford
28:22
it or are unhoused.
28:23
It's something, it's been a mission of the restaurant for a
28:26
long time. Our mission is to do fresh,
28:29
affordable, flavorful Vietnamese food to pay our workers decently and also
28:35
to not turn anybody in need away in our neighborhood.
28:38
We love it here.
28:39
We've been here over three years and it's something,
28:43
it's a very special neighborhood and that's all we have for today
28:53
You feel me?
28:54
Hopefully. Well, my grandma's gonna see that nun thing in
28:57
like three weeks. So I'm good for like three more weeks
29:01
So one of my cousins is gonna snitch on me.
29:03
I already have the feeling which one I know is gonna be
29:06
but like you're never gonna be number one,
29:08
bro. Oh my God.
29:10
It's, it's my picture in her apartment when you walk in
29:13
Not yours. Thank you guys for joining us.
29:16
I'm Jenny. I'm Jean and we'll see you guys next time
