Are you satisfied mum?
Is this what you wanted in this picture?
I am seven years old.
I am fresh from Venezuela.
It was my first Christmas in the United States of America.
This fabulous photo was taken at JC Penney portrait because
where else would Cuban parents take their kids for their Christmas
My mom, she loves taking pictures.
So she probably was like, hi Santa.
And then all three of us are just there.
Like my mom thought it would be fun to dress me up as a pilgrim
because they're American.
There was always like a group of parents there with Corino
We're trying to get Pepita on her dress and she's taking off
The only thing I'll be really worrying about is if I tease the
restroom while we're doing it.
And I'm in the onesie and she's like, yes, this is what the Americans
They dress up for Christmas and I'm like puffy ass sleeves
Lots of t a few years ago, I was a photographer for JC Penney
This is literally coming full circle.
This is my mother's Christmas gift for me to put this and show
the world that I'm a Pelegrina Mera Men.
The sad part is, is that we fit in children's dresses.
I look like a Teletubby.
I don't even know what I'm wearing.
That's the exact same felt that he's wearing in that picture
to the, I would definitely dress my kids up as pilgrims.
I could see them hating it.
And I'm like, that's kind of funny.
We did put our dogs through this in the studio So we kind of in
a way already did this to our Children.
My mom is still to this day taking pictures of us all the time
She was taking pictures during this photo shoot.
There was, there was one where we were like, what poses, it's
like hit her hands who naturally just goes like this.
Just take it all in.
