The whole reason we got into this business was to spend more
We were both in the corporate industry and we would not see
each other very much.
I'm Cuban, my husband's Colombian.
So it's really Cuban Colombian.
We're the owners of Latin cuisine.
We've all heard but in every city there are Latino chefs who
proudly wrap their culture in the kitchen.
We hit the streets to find them and tell their stories.
This is so when we first started, we didn't have any restaurant
industry background, any experience in the food industries
In the beginning, we had so many struggles.
We did all the prepping, all the cleaning, all the cooking
and hours on the truck.
But the reason we went into this wasn't for the money.
It was for the love of the food.
And that's where our recipes are from, are from three generations
passed to my husband and I food made with passion.
You'll taste it in every bite.
We're aware of our carbon footprint in this industry.
So our chicken is cage free, hormone free.
Our beef is sourced out of New Zealand from a farm that's cage
free, hormone free grass fed.
So when people try our food, we want them to experience like
they're in our home that we're serving them with their mom
And it feels like a safe place.
A loved place, a welcome place.
What makes our food special is basically our roots.
Uh as Latinos, we grew up around the kitchen all the time.
It was the center of the household.
So part of eating in our uh food truck is also hearing our Latin
music play in the background goes with our life.
Like we have a life, we have a wonderful life.
That's a translation in English is, that's our motto and,
and that's how we live and we just enjoying it.
